Ready to roll?

Picked up these from Moto Mummy. They had an incredible sale on the Battlax Hypersport S21 tires.

I’ve been running the BT-S20 on Ol’ Yeller for a while now, and love how they perform on both the street and track. So I figured the updated triple compound rear might be just what I’m looking for when it comes to good street performance for the Repsol.

Well, the wait is over, Moto Mummy had these delivered to my door in just a few days.

Looks like it’s time to give the Repsol some much needed TLC and get it ready to thoroughly enjoy the new riding season.

Well, that’s it!

Well, our patience paid off, the track dried up very nicely with only a few standing water puddles that were easily avoided. Most riders had already fled leaving a small number of riders who were ready to ride. At first they opened to track up to all riders and we took off on our first lap. Unfortunately, due to a few riders not playing by the rules, we were split up into grounds that alternated every 30 minutes. As it turns out, were were able to get in three sessions which actually equated to more than half a day of track time if we were able to meet our planned intervals.

Turned out to be a great day after all. The morning rain provided some time with friends that I haven’t seen in a while and enjoy some great food that people had been cooking up at the track. Although the track season is coming to an end, I look forward to the coming year, and many more track days to come.

Holy smokes, look what else came in today

New Racetech fork springs for Ol’ Yeller. It’s like Christmas only better! Special thanks to Alan at True Value Home Center in Oakhurst. They are also a WPS distributor and Alan is an enthusiast who likes to help out other enthusiasts by offering awesome deals.

I’m thankful to have such a great shop up here in the sticks which has the ability to get me the parts I need usually within a few days
