Why did I wait so long?
Should have switched to stiffer springs 70,000 miles ago. Ol’ Yeller has really come alive thanks to the Racetech fork springs. Now I have to get a set for the Repsol.

I needed to scrub in the new tires, so I took Ol’ Yeller out to some of its old stomping grounds. I can’t help but think, if it could smile, it would be from ear to ear.
Can’t believe it’s been 17 years and 72,000+ miles since I brought it home. Many great adventures so far during our time together and hoping for many more to come.
Took us 20+ years but it looks like our small town finally hit the big time.
Now, how the heck am I going to get these to the street with my long gravel driveway?

New Racetech fork springs for Ol’ Yeller. It’s like Christmas only better! Special thanks to Alan at True Value Home Center in Oakhurst. They are also a WPS distributor and Alan is an enthusiast who likes to help out other enthusiasts by offering awesome deals.
I’m thankful to have such a great shop up here in the sticks which has the ability to get me the parts I need usually within a few days
Chaparral Moto had these bad boys delivered to my door in two days. Their prices were the best I could find and they offer free shipping on the tires.

Just got the Penske shock back on, just need to swap out the front fork springs (I’m thinking Racetech), grab some tires, and it’ll be ready for the track.
Still reppin’ “The Kid” on my Honda!
