How’s about a date?

For those of you that know the story, this brought a big smile to my face today.
For those of you that don’t, ask me about it the next time we meet up. 🙂

It’s hard to believe that 40 years ago one of my favorite albums of all time was released. I have purchased this album on vinyl, 8 track, cassette tape, compact disc and on digital. It was the springboard to which I was introduced to Styx, which quickly became one of my most favorite bands.
“Paradise Theatre was release on Jan 19, 1981, and is a fictional account of Chicago’s Paradise Theatre from its opening to closing, used as a metaphor for America’s changing times from the late ’70s into the ’80s.”
Here’s to all the great memories their music has brought, and to all the rockin’ still to come!
Yup, that’s right!
Been breakin’ and be-boppin’ since my birthday, thanks to this awesome gift from my favorite youngest daughter. 😉
This thing connects via wire, Bluetooth, USB or even MicroSD. Even has a FM radio deep in its innards.
Been filling up my Spotify playlist with everything that was cool about the 80’s. Just need to dig up some large pieces of cardboard so I can perfect my moves.
Grabbed a Zune Grip Pad which was found in the original Car Pack. It amazes me that you can still find these things new and in their factory sealed boxes.
Finally found the stock background image for my brown Zunes. I already had them for the black, white and pink models, but not the original brown. Still on the lookout for the stock background for the red Zune but I’m only one image away from the complete set.
Since hearing the Guardians signing “Rubberband Man” in Infinity War, I just had to add this 70’s classic to my Zune!
The first gen 30gb Zune holds well over 3,000 songs. But that wasn’t enough so I upgraded my Zune to 128gb solid state drive that holds my entire collection, over 13,000 songs.
What would Star-Lord do with that many songs?
Yes, I love Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! This is the best way to listen to the soundtrack. “It’s called a Zune, it’s what everybodys listening to on Earth nowadays.”
